Miss Behave

It’s been an up and down couple of weeks but as always, my latest conversation with Rita was full of laughter.   She worked all last week which simply amazes me.   Considering all of that chemo floating around in her, a transfusion under her belt and the prospect of surgery in the future, I wonder how many of us would be carrying on with life as close to “usual” as possible.  I know how much Rita appreciates your prayers for her as her journey continues.  I know for a fact that those prayers have made a huge difference in how well she has done.  God listens and is walking along holding her hand every step of the way.  As you see from these latest images, she is loaded with smiles, humor, determination to do her job well and preparations for next Monday’s (today) new chemo treatments to begin.   I’ll keep you posted as the week progresses.   This new medicine is different so maybe the next session we do will have hair growing back and her strength returning.  To follow this blog via email, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the button labeled “follow”.  Have a Happy Valentine’s Day and enjoy each and every day!

We are all so proud of Rita. She is a true inspiration, and our prayers will continue for her.
